Origin story

A sourcing story built around strong relationships, clear quality, and buyer fit.

Cloud Valley Coffee was built around a simple idea: great coffee sourcing should stay close to origin, close to quality, and close to the actual needs of the buyer. That principle continues to shape how we evaluate farms, relationships, and long-term supply.

Today, our story is larger than any one country. Robusta remains a core strength, and specialty coffee is an important part of where we are headed. We look across trusted origins for coffees with clarity, character, and commercial fit, while still honoring the farming realities and regional identities behind each lot.

Our role is to create a cleaner path from producer to customer. With offices in San Jose and Seattle, we make it easier to move from first inquiry to sample discussion with clearer communication, faster conversations, and a more grounded sourcing relationship.

Supply profile

What buyers can expect from the conversation.

Buyer-first sourcing

We start with the needs of the importer, roaster, or distributor: taste direction, intended use, and the kind of long-term relationship you want to build.

Robusta and specialty match

We focus on coffees that match the real use case: dependable Robusta, distinctive specialty selections, and lots with clear origin character behind them.

Flexible shipment planning

Packaging preferences, lot questions, and documentation expectations are discussed around the order instead of forced into a generic one-size-fits-all process.

West Coast ready communication

With buyer-facing U.S. offices, we make it easier to move from first inquiry to sample discussion across multiple origins without losing time across continents.

Sourcing network

From trusted origins to U.S. buyers, with less distance in the conversation.

We operate with buyer-facing offices in San Jose and Seattle. That structure helps us stay close to origin while building a wider, more flexible sourcing network for the market we want to serve.

How we work

A clear path from sourcing conversation to shipment planning.

01

Share your need

Tell us what you are buying for: roasting, blending, distribution, or a new import relationship.

02

Review origin fit

We align the conversation around region, lot expectations, and how the coffee should perform for your business.

03

Discuss samples and specifications

We move into samples, practical buyer questions, and what needs to be ready before a shipment is confirmed.

04

Plan export coordination

Once the fit is right, we move into shipment planning and the details needed to keep the order smooth and well understood.

Quick answers

Questions buyers usually ask first.

Do you focus only on green Robusta right now?

No. Robusta is still a major focus, but Cloud Valley Coffee is also building around specialty coffees and trusted sourcing relationships across multiple origins.

Can I ask about samples before a larger order?

Absolutely. Sample conversations are one of the best ways to see whether the coffee, the communication, and the relationship are the right fit.

Do you work with roasters as well as importers?

Yes. We are open to importers, roasters, distributors, and commercial coffee buyers who want Robusta and specialty coffees with a direct, origin-aware sourcing story.

Can documentation and shipment details be discussed order by order?

Yes. We treat those details as part of the buyer conversation so requirements are clear and matched to the destination and shipment plan.
